Culture and making real life art at Tate Modern's Pop Life
Decided to get a bit of culture in at the wknd. This is what you do when you don't drink! So anyway finally made it to Tate Moderns Pop Life. To be honest it was a little disappointing, as always there were hoards of stupid people who seem to think it's ok to stand right in front of the piece, when everyone else has respectfully stood a few feet back. More annoyingly I'd seen the majority of the pieces for free in various galleries around the world. They'd even put old Andy’s self portrait in there which is usually, or used to be anyway, displayed for free upstairs! This time however, I paid £12.50 for the privilege, bargain. I was however inspired by the two real life twins (part of a Hirst piece I think), to make my own art with my good friend Alice in the Keith Haring room, check it out......

I don't drink therefore I'm boring!
So for January I'm not really drinking, when I say not really I mean I had a glass of wine last night instead of half a bottle and at the wknd I had one gin & tonic on sat and a glass of wine on sun. After Decembers exploits that makes me look t total. Sorry poor body for all the binging in December :( please don't age me! So anyway now I don't drink alcohol, really, or caffine, by best friend has moved out of London & I'm too skint to go anywhere so I stay in or go to the gym, erm - I'm boring! How did that happen?! I'm totally BORING. Thing is I'm alright about it. I'm enjoying getting up and not feeling hungover, food cravings are massively down without the caffine and I seem to have more cash to last the month, not bad huh. I give it two more weeks ;) life is for living afterall. But after all that (sort of) clean living I've still managed to get a bloody cold sore, HATE them so much. Paper bag please!

I can't resist another game of Would You Rather?
Ok, now this is a real tough one for me, the Ultimate Bond, Daniel Craig or the ultimate erm, Spook? Rupert Penry-Jones (apparently nicknamed, Pendulum-Jones in the industry - even better!) Both amazingly sexy at all times, appart from when Daniel played that wierd monk guy in Elizabeth (I think?) but we'll forget about that. Hmmmm, who to chose......

? Slightly unfair pictures?!

The best cocktail ever
I am definitely a lover of cocktails. I love the taste, I love the associations that go with it; classic glamour, luscious surroundings, devil may care attitude, a little bit sexy and best of all- expense! I hate fake cocktails, cocktails you get on crappy holidays, in pub type watering holes and it's even worse when you think the bar you're in is decent and then bam! Out comes the rubbish cocktail. Any pre mixed ingredients going in to your glass should indicate for you immediately call halt! To the bar tender and run, run for your life I tell you! Preferably in the direction of a cocktail bar worth it's salt, be@one is always a good shout. However the best cocktail I have ever consumed to date, I am however always open to offers, was a poorly named 'oh my dog' is Paris very own Buddah bar. You just need to see the ingredients to know it's something a little bit special; Bulldog gin infused with white pepper, grenadine, rose cordial, lime, bitter truth lemonade.
See! The taste was everything I could wish for in a drink, light and crisp, fruity, unusual flavours, with a slight kick of pepper to top it all off. Mmmm, why am I having an alcohol free January again?!

Loving 90210's Naomi, wondering if it's possible to be that skinny?
Ok is it wrong that at the age of 26 I'm totally in love with Beverley Hills 90210 and more precisely Naomi?! It's like watching a movie every week with rediculously attractive people poncing around being stupidly rich, marvellous. Everything I could ever wish for. I am never one to deny that I simply love attractive people. They're just more interesting aren't they. As for Naomi, wow. It just doesn't seem fair that such an attractive human should actually exist, did you see her in her bikini this week! Oh my god. Sometimes I wonder if it's even possible for some bodies to get that way. If I didn't eat any bad things, or any food at all more realistically, and exercised like crazy everyday would I look like that? I'm not so sure. I think I'd actually keel over and die first. Oh well I'll stick to watching and drooling for now. Mmmmm Naomi......

Ouch, first day back in the office has killed me!
I think the alarm went off so early that I was shocked into getting up not really knowing what I was doing yesterday. Arrived at work only to discover I had a full days training, requiring prep work which, needless to say, I hadn't done. Whoops! There goes my new years resolution to be good at work! Can't say I'm too bothered about that as I write this on the tube at 8:24, I know early huh. I am a firm believer in not getting up before 10 at the moment and if I could petition for every humans right to 12 hours sleep a day, I would! It's a basic human right people! Anyway back to my terrible day yesterday. On way to training I made the foolish mistake of looking in the mirror. Why oh why did I do that to myself?! It was not a pretty sight I tell thee, dark circles, bad skin, rubbish hair and rediculously chapped lips and alas no tools or magical potions to correct any of these major errs. I know you feel my pain. Well fear not for today I have freshly straightened hair, unchapped lips and a lovely thick layer of foundation crusted over with powder and I look hot! Well not quite but it's a vast improvement on yesterday. If only I had a personal stylist and make-up putter-onner, oh and hair dresser to make me look like Cheryl Cole each day. At least I had a big sparkly ring to show off! Yipee!
